There are many good reasons to breastfeed your baby. Breast milk contains the best nutrients to help your baby grow. Breast milk also helps protect against infections and may help prevent your baby from having allergies.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that women give their babies breast milk for at least the first 6 months of life.

If you are having problems with breastfeeding, talk with a lactation specialist.
